The Barton Music Division will host the “Jopara Ensemble” as a part of a night of Paraguayan music on Saturday, Feb. 4. There can be a masterclass at 4 p.m. within the Chapel and a live performance at 7:30 p.m. within the Positive Arts Auditorium at Barton Neighborhood School. The occasion is free and open to the general public and is totally sponsored by the Barton Basis. 

String space school from Emporia State College and Washburn College will lead everybody in a night of music and cultural alternate. The masterclass portion will function the visitor musicians in addition to Barton college students and area people members. The evening will culminate with a live performance that may embody collaborations from Barton’s Keyboard Teacher and Director of Accompaniment Dr. Alejandro Avila with the visitor musicians in several instrumental mixtures that includes Paraguayan music.
