A transfer for former striker Josh Maja doesn’t make a lot sense for Fulham given how nicely they’re doing this season, in keeping with Day by day Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards.
Fulham have been linked with a £4m transfer for the London-born Nigeria ahead, who’s at present at French membership Bordeaux.
Edwards advised the Switch Gossip Day by day podcast: “I’m undecided this switch makes any sense to me.
“He simply appears to be a kind of actually stressed footballers. He was at Sunderland and I adopted his profession fairly intently so I used to be conscious of his breakthrough. He was actually extremely rated after they had been in League One, he then deserted them successfully to go to Bordeaux and has since spent most of his time in France coming again to England.
“He scored three objectives in 15 appearances for Fulham, after which one purpose in 15 appearances for Stoke. So I’m just a little bit bewildered by a workforce that’s knocking on the door of Europe this season eager to spend this cash on a striker who hasn’t precisely pulled up timber.
“He’s achieved very nicely in Bordeaux however I’m undecided of the usual in Ligue 2.”
