EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – On Tuesday, Evansville’s Ivy Tech introduced a partnership with the Deaconess Well being System.
Deaconess has donated $550,000 to assist the expansion of the nursing program and its college members.
Ivy Tech officers say the vast majority of the funds shall be used for scholarships in addition to the growth of the classroom and lab areas.
Deaconess CEO says the partnership will assist cut back the scarcity as the necessity for nurses grows.
