Hollywood Minute 1/10: ‘Avatar 2’ tops ‘Jurassic World’


(CNN) — Meek Mill has apologized for secretly filming a music video in Ghana’s presidential palace.

The video, which featured the rapper singing within the palace’s corridors and halls, was blasted for creating a possible safety danger. Mill traveled to Ghana final month after studying he’s half Ghanaian.

Mill uploaded the video to Instagram over the weekend, then took it down.

He took to Twitter with an apology, writing: “To the folks of Ghana no video I drop is ever meant to disrespect the folks of Ghana …. The quickest solution to make a connection is through music and I wished to try this with displaying artwork … im in my 30’s from America and did not know a lot concerning the way of life right here.”

He admitted that officers for Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo-Addo, weren’t conscious that he was filming. He has since eliminated the video from his social media channels.
