Syracuse misplaced a troublesome Atlantic Coast Convention (ACC) highway recreation at Georgia Tech, 69-57, Thursday night time at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. The Orange transfer to 13-6 general and 4-4 in ACC play. Syracuse was led by Dyaisha Honest’s 17 factors, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Dariauna Lewis had her eight double-double of the season with 11 factors and 14 rebounds within the loss.  

The Orange proceed their two-game swing to #13 Duke on Sunday. 

Teisha Hyman had 15 factors, and three assists within the loss whereas Kyra Wooden completed with seven factors and 6 rebounds.  

WHEN IT WAS DECIDED: 

Georgia Tech used a 12-2 run late within the fourth quarter to tug away from the Orange. The Yellow Jackets outscored Syracuse 21-10 within the last body and had been led by Bianca Jackson’s seven factors within the last body.  

Defensively, GT held Syracuse to only two factors over the ultimate three and a half minutes of play. 

WHAT COACH JACK SAID: 

“They took us out of the sport and one of the best group received at the moment. They got here firing for 40 minutes and we have got to determine learn how to put 40 minutes collectively and we’ll.” 

NOTABLE NUMBERS: 


Hyman notched her eleventh double-digit scoring effort this season and the forty second time of her Syracuse profession. 



Honest recorded her nineteenth straight recreation with double-digit factors and thirteenth recreation with 15+ factors 



Lewis notched her team-best eighth double-double of the season
