Practically 20 years since its debut, RBD is proving that nice music is para siempre.
The Mexican pop group – comprised of Dulce María, Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher von Uckermann (“Ozark” star Alfonso Herrera is not going to be becoming a member of his bandmates) – will embark on its first tour since disbanding in 2009.
The “Soy Rebelde Tour,” which kicks off on the Solar Bowl stadium in El Paso, Texas, in August, will see the band carry out in 26 cities throughout america, Mexico and Brazil.

Perroni added: “Now, the time (for the reunion) is ideal as a result of we’re now extra aware, extra mature. We’ll get pleasure from it from a unique perspective now as adults.”
RBD launched 5 studio albums throughout its five-year run, in addition to recorded albums in English and Portuguese. The band’s remaining album, “Para Olvidarte de Mí” (To Overlook About Me) peaked at No. 3 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart.
“Rebelde,” the present that spawned the band, adopted the music-loving college students attending Elite Manner College, a fictional prestigious boarding faculty in Mexico. The present ran from 2004-2006 and in 2022, Netflix rebooted the sequence for a brand new technology of viewers.
Von Uckermann advised Rolling Stone that whereas he “by no means imagined” returning to RBD, he now sees the band’s impression in another way.
