SANTA BARBARA, Calif. –
The Santa Barbara Jewish Movie Pageant returns Wednesday to The New Vic Theatre in downtown Santa Barbara.
This 5 day pageant consists of movies from around the globe and knowledgeable panel discussions.
Thursday at 5:00 pm, a documentary referred to as “Repairing the World: Tales from the Tree of Life” shall be taking part in.
The documentary sheds mild on the tragic 2018 synagogue taking pictures in Pittsburgh, PA and the neighborhood’s response to hate and antisemitism.
Following this documentary shall be an knowledgeable panel with Anti-Defamation League Vice President of the Heart on Extremism Oren Segal, Filmmaker Patrice O’Neill, and Lorne M. Fienberg, Immigration Lawyer and Brother-in-Regulation of Joyce Fienberg, a Tree of Life sufferer.
