Ben Platt and Jennifer Hudson are both multi-award winners and they united for a conversation on the latest episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.
For those who don’t know, Ben is a Tony, Emmy, and Grammy winner for his work in Dear Evan Hansen while Jennifer is an EGOT recipient.
During Ben‘s appearance to promote his new album Honeymind, he opened up about proposing to his fiance Noah Galvin and how Noah also planned a surprise proposal in return.

“He did it back to me. I think one of the wonderful things about queer relationships, I mean I think there’s lots of wonderful things, but there’s no pre-conceived roles so everything feels really even and equal. I got to make him feel like princess for a day and then he did it right back to me and sent me on like a scavenger hunt and threw me a little BBQ with our friends and gave me a pretty ring,” Ben said.
