Celine Dion is back in the public eye!
The 56-year-old singer made her red carpet return at the premiere of the new documentary I Am: Celine Dion on Monday night (June 17) at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
Celine was joined on the carpet by her 23-year-old son Rene-Charles Angelil, as well as documentary director Irene Taylor Brodsky and Amazon Studios exec Jennifer Salke.
Aside from Celine’s surprise appearance at the Grammys earlier this year, where she skipped the red carpet, this is her first major public appearance since early 2020.
The new documentary gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.
I Am: Celine Dion will be released on Prime Video on June 25. A limited theatrical release will happen this weekend. Watch the trailer!
