Hacks Season 4 Ordered, Max Issues Statement

Max has officially announced the Hacks Season 4 renewal for its critically-acclaimed comedy series starring Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder.

This comes after the Season 3 finale titled, “Bulletproof,” had just been released online, and is now available on Max with rest of this season’s episodes. At the moment, the latest installment currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 37 reviews.

Hacks is a masterfully crafted comedy delivering laughs and sharp insights about the vulnerability and joy of sharing a dream,” Max Original Programming executive Sarah Aubrey said in statement. “The creative team behind this singular show is not only brilliant but also a joy to work with. We couldn’t be happier to give viewers another season with Deborah, Ava, and the rest of the HACKS family.”

What is Hacks Season 3 about?

The official synopsis reads: “A year after parting, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles.”

Hacks is created and executive produced by Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who are also serving as showrunners. The Season 3 cast includes Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo. They are joined by a stellar guest-star line-up consisting of Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace and Tony Goldwyn. It is executive produced by Michael Schur, David Miner and Morgan Sackett.
