We have some information for fans anxiously awaiting the release of the upcoming DC movie Superman starring David Corenswet in the title role.
Director James Gunn addressed a few topics that have been on the minds of fans ever since some set photos were published.

First, we saw photos of David filming with the actor playing Mister Terrific (in complete costume). Then, there were some crash scene photos that got some attention, followed by photos of Superman getting arrested.
James was asked if any of the set photos contain major spoilers that will ruin the movie.
On Threads, he responded, “Not even a little. I’d never shoot a big spoiler outside in the middle of the city.” He then said the photos of the sets were “fully expected” by him and the cast.
Then, he addressed a big rumor that Milly Alcock is currently in Cleveland, Ohio to film a cameo for the film. Milly was cast as the upcoming Supergirl for DC, and a cameo by her in Superman has long been rumored.
In response to the rumor that Milly is in town to film a cameo, James wrote, “Nope. Never has been here unless she’s vacationing in [Cleveland, Ohio] and hasn’t told me!”
Warner Bros. will release the movie on July 11, 2025.
