On Saturday, JoJo suddenly stopped her set at RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Trixie Mattel’s Pride concert to address a disrespectful fan.
“Who the living f-ck just boo’ed me?” she screamed into the microphone while scanning the crowd. “Where the f-ck did that come from? Which one of you?”
“Which one of you?” she repeated before someone in the stands handed her a sign, though it wasn’t legible from the video clip. ” “Respectfully, f-ck you!” she repeated.

After seeing the viral video, fans instantly stood by the “Karma” artist, applauding her for speaking her mind. “Made the $50 ticket so worth it. You better call it out honey,” one social media user wrote.

Earlier this year, the former Nickelodeon star lit up the stage at the Los Angeles Gay Pride celebration. During her performance, she was spotted chugging from a bottle of Tito’s vodka, but who knows if it was vodka, water, or another clear liquid.
The stunt caused some controversy among fans, as several bashed her for promoting “alcoholism.”
“Jojo Siwa making drinking her entire personality, but she doesn’t even drink the sh-t that she’s holding in the videos is so weird???” one X user said. “You can be a ‘bad’ girl but not promote alcoholism. Her chucking Tito’s was def just water or she has a serious problem.”

In 2021, JoJo Siwa embraced her LGBTQ+ identity, spreading even more love, positivity, and acceptance to her fans everywhere.
“I was on the phone with my girlfriend at the time, and I said ‘I think I wanna come out to the world,’” she recalled. “I posted this picture and threw it on my Instagram Story, and that’s how I confirmed it … I didn’t think twice about it,” she said on the podcast “JoJo Siwa Now” last year.
“If you didn’t like me because [one day] I was straight, and [the next day] I was gay, then you’re not meant to like me anyways,” she explained to her haters. “I just try to really be genuine, really be who I am.”

The 21-year-old artist also spoke to People Magazine about her experience in coming out, admitting, “I still don’t know what I am. It’s like, I want to figure it out. And I have this joke. Her name is Kylie. And so I say that I’m Ky-sexual,” she says. “But like, I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool.”
“I like queer,” she added. “Technically I would say that I am pansexual because that’s how I have always been my whole life is just like, my human is my human.”
How Social Media Made Her Coming Out Journey Easier

While some may look at social media as addicting and toxic, it actually helped JoJo in her decision to come out.
“Just getting social media for me, it actually gave me a safe space when I came out,” the singer told E! News, adding that she “knew that even if everyone around me didn’t support me, that there was gonna be people online that did and I knew that I was gonna find those people, and I was really excited about that. I always told myself it was gonna be easier to come out online than it was in person. And I do believe that’s very true.”
“I’ve never talked about this before, but social media is an art,” she continued. “And a lot of times people dog on influencers and nag on influencers saying that anyone could do it.”

When speaking to her fans, the “Karma” singer had one specific piece of advice. “Be yourself. You have to know that you’re always changing. You’re always growing. You’re always evolving,” she said. “Never, ever put yourself in a box. And never ever limit yourself.”
