Deadline reports that the crew of Walker has begun breaking down the sets, which are located in Austin, Texas.

The decision to break down the sets was made just one day after The CW announced its fall schedule, which did not include Walker.

Even though the sets are being broken down, Walker is not offically canceled, but it doesn’t look good for the series. Deadline reports that this movie will allow CBS Studios to save money on stage rentals, but if the show is renewed, the sets will be put back up. Crew members are taking on other jobs in the meantime.

The CW has until the end of July to decide on a renewal for Walker and at that point, the cast will be let go if a decision hasn’t been made.

Deadline reports that The CW currently pays a license fee to CBS Studios of about $500,000 to $550,000 per episode, but the studio is hoping to get the fee closer to $1 million per episode to make the show more affordable to produce.

The boss of The CW has commented on the possibility of the show being renewed.
