Maren Morris is bringing more than country twang to the party this Pride Month. The Grammy Award winner showed her true colors with a bisexual coming-out message, and fans are loving it. 

Maren Morris, whose divorce from Ryan Hurd was finalized early this year, is celebrating Pride Month with a powerful declaration of her sexual identity.

The 34-year-old, best known for her hit song “The Middle,” publicly come out as bisexual at the age of 34. The singer made the announcement on social media in honor of Pride Month following a concert in Phoenix.

“PHOENIX, AZ. happy to be the B in LGBTQ+. happy pride,” Morris captioned a series of images shared on Instagram. Among the photos were powerful shots of her performing on stage, proudly waving a Pride flag in the fourth and sixth slides.

The other slides showcased Morris fully immersed in her performance, dressed in a sexy, see-through spaghetti-strapped top with ruffled sleeves. 

Her black bra was visible beneath the top, which she paired with fitted black bottoms. She completed her look with a center-parted, shoulder-length bob and minimal makeup.

With this announcement, Morris has joined a growing number of celebrities who are using their platforms to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Maren Morris Finalized Divorce From Ryan Hurd In January

Morris’ announcement of her bisexuality comes just months after she finalized her divorce from Ryan Hurd, ending their five-year marriage.

In January, Morris and Hurd concluded a three-month court battle by reaching a “written marital dissolution agreement,” according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

The agreement, which followed the terms of their February 2018 prenuptial agreement, detailed the division of their properties and assets.

As part of the settlement, both Morris and Hurd waived their rights to receive alimony or spousal support from each other.

However, the mother-of-one was ordered to pay Hurd $2,100 monthly in child support, based on their respective gross monthly incomes—Morris earning $210,534 and Hurd $41,666.67.

Morris and Hurd also agreed to share joint custody of their young son, each having him for 182.5 days annually.

The arrangement stipulated that Morris would have custody on even-numbered holidays while Hurd would have custody on odd-numbered ones.

This schedule applied to significant holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, and Summer vacation. Critical decisions about Hayes’ religion, education, extracurricular activities, and non-emergency health care would be made jointly.

Additionally, the former pair committed to “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”

Morris and Hurd then got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in an intimate Nashville ceremony in 2018. Throughout much of their marriage, they managed a long-distance relationship, with the “My Church” singer openly discussing their difficulties.
