The Despicable Me franchise is loved by kids, adults and everyone in between!
With Despicable Me 4 out in theaters now, we are taking a look at which of the movies is the most liked by fans.
The franchise, which has now spanned six movies, first started in 2010 when the first Despicable Me movie was released in theaters.
In the first film, surrounded by an army of tireless, little yellow minions, we meet Gru, who is planning the biggest heist in the history of the world – to steal the moon!
Since then, we’ve seen his journey in life grow to becoming married and a father. The Minions sequel, The Rise of Gru, took fans back in time to a young Gru and how he became who he is.
The franchise has spawned across several movies, including Minions spinoffs, parade balloons, video games, many short films and a digital series. Plus, there’s now a Minion Land at Universal Studios Orlando, complete with it’s own Minion ride!
The Despicable Me franchise has amassed over $4 billion at the box office globally, making it one of the highest grossing film franchises ever.
