While updating fans on her health, the “The Vampire Diaries” star shared photos from the hospital, where she was seen in a gown, hooked up to an IV, with her left leg in a cast and a neck brace extending from her collarbone to her chin.

The photo set included an image taken just before the mishap, showing Dobrev posing on the small black bike. She wore a black outfit with white striped shorts, a top, and a sweater, complemented by white socks, sneakers, and brown sunglasses. The actress beamed for the camera, displaying her signature brunette hair and bangs.
Dobrev also posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories from her hospital bed, showing a sad expression with her bottom lip jutting out.
In another post on a plain black background, she wrote, “I’m okay, but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” adding a broken heart emoji and an injured emoji.

Dobrev’s accident comes after her partner, professional snowboarder Shaun White, praised her snowboarding abilities during an interview.
Speaking to E! News, white gushed over how good she is, noting, “She’s really good on the board.
He added, “She grew up in Canada. So, it was nice ’cause that’s definitely sometimes a relationship make-or-break. Not if they can’t ride, but I’ve had people come up with me and it didn’t end well ’cause I’m not the best coach at times.”

After the event, they decided to grab a meal together, during which the professional snowboarder realized just how famous Dobreb is.
“I actually didn’t know anything about her,” White admitted to People in January 2022. He recounted a humorous incident where he approached restaurant staff, thinking they wanted a photo with him, only to discover it was the other way around. “Can we get a photo … with her?” the waiters asked the Olympic snowboarder.
