Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones‘ big news has been revealed!

Earlier this week, the two former co-stars teased some news was coming and many thought a second season of Normal People was finally in the works.

However, Daisy revealed on Thursday (May 30) what they were teasing and while it does have to do with the show, it does not seem to be that they are making a new season.

“The news is, we are incredibly sorry if we led people on. It’s not a season two,” Paul started off in a video announcement.

“No, not yet!” Daisy then teased. “There’s still time, keep the faith.”

Paul added, “Loads of time. Please, god. But, it is something we think is very important.”

The co-stars then shared that they are hosting a screening of the series to benefit suicide and self-harm prevention through Pieta, as well as providing children affected by crisis with supplies and assistance through UNICEF.

The screening will be held at a cinema in Central London, where they will show all 12 episodes of Normal People.

Paul and Daisy will both be in attendance, along with series director Lenny Abrahamson and producer Ed Guiney.

The raffle prize draw will go on from now until Monday, June 10th, with the screening being held on Sunday, June 16th in Central London.

140 Winners will be notified on June 11th, and each winner will each receive two tickets to the screening.
