Ryan Anderson Hints Ken Urker Played A Role In Gypsy Rose Blanchard Divorce

Ryan Anderson, 38, and Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 32, got married in a prison ceremony while she was serving her 10-year sentence for her involvement in her mother’s murder.

Three months after being released on parole, Gypsy announced that she and Ryan have separated, and she has since filed for divorce. Shortly thereafter, Gypsy rekindled her romance with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker. 

Ryan Anderson is now speaking out, claiming that Ken Urker had a possible influence in his and Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s divorce.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Separation To Be Aired In New Docuseries

The messy divorce between Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson will be aired on Lifetime’s new docuseries, “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” which airs on Mondays.

As The Blast reported, Gypsy and Ryan separated three months after the 32-year-old was released. She was serving a 10-year sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in relation to her mom.

Ryan picked her up the morning of her release, and she immediately moved in with her husband in Louisiana. Following the divorce, she has moved in with her parents.

What Was Ryan Anderson Accused Of?

Fans have been anxiously waiting to see what exactly went down between the two as rumors swirled that Gypsy left Ryan for her ex, Ken Urker. Other sources claim she left him because he was controlling and reminded her of her late mother, Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard, whom she plotted to murder after suffering from years of abuse.

Gypsy’s close friend Nadiya Vizier, 22, told PEOPLE Magazine, “He got in her face and screamed. Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her. He didn’t — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared.”

She added, “But she got to safety and called her lawyer, too. Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary. It was like she was on a leash. What’s the difference between being locked in a prison cell and feeling locked in her own home and marriage? She didn’t want to put up with it anymore.”

Ryan has denied the accusations of his behavior, while Gypsy has denied the rumors that she left Ryan for Ken.

Ryan Anderson Says Love Was ‘Never The Issue’

In a new interview with Extra, Ryan Anderson opened up about the events that led to his and Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s separation and divorce.

While he said the “love [they] had for each other hadn’t changed,” he said the events leading up to the divorce revolved around “a lot of things that had taken place.”

“Love was never our issue,” he added.

Ryan added that he is “still processing” and “still reflecting” on the divorce, which occurred two months ago.

Ryan Anderson Says Someone ‘Pushed’ Ken Onto Gypsy

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson allegedly had a big, blow-out fight that led to their separation. According to Ryan, since that night that Gypsy left, he “hasn’t seen her since,” though they do still communicate.

“One minute we were married, and the next we weren’t,” he said. “It was kind of like, ‘I’m going to my parents for the weekend,’ and then all of a sudden it was, ‘I’m not coming back.'”

When asked if the argument had anything to do with Ken Urker, Ryan replied, “Possibly,” but then clarified that Gypsy didn’t keep up a relationship with Ken “like people think,” but he did claim “there were other things that happened,” and there “was another influence that kept pushing Ken on her.”

“I thought somebody had our back, and [instead] it was wanting us to fail,” he added, not naming who the “influence” was.

“Personally, I think outside influences got involved. And I don’t want to pinpoint it yet because I’m still processing, but I’d go to work, and then her mind would just run rampant,” he previously stated. “And I’m still trying to figure out … how did it happen so fast?”

Ryan Is ‘Blindsided’

When asked if ” betrayal ” was involved, Ryan Anderson said, “Correct.”

“It just happened so fast, man,” the special education teacher continued. “Like when I say I’m blindsided, I am blindsided by how fast things happened.”

Ryan described what happened as a “snowball” effect that “just kept going, and now it’s so big you can’t stop it.”
