Sabrina Carpenter opened up about dealing with heartbreak by making a big change to her appearance.
During a recent interview, the 25-year-old “Please Please Please” singer revealed that after her “first real heartbreak,” she decided that it was time to “do something different.”

The change was cutting her hair to give herself bangs.
Sabrina told Vanity Fair that she knew that she wouldn’t dye her hair since she “always felt comfortable” as a natural blonde. So she decided that bangs were the way to go.
“I literally cut my bangs ’cause someone broke my heart and I was just like, ‘I have to do something,’” she recalled. “I’m not usually one of those people that has to make rash decisions when their feelings are hurt but that was my first real heartbreak and so I guess it just sparked that initial like, ‘I have to do something different.’”
