She revealed the initial “R” on her left wrist honored her late brother Rafael and then shifted attention to the “J” on her right wrist, initially for Manganiello.
Rather than cover it up because they are no longer together, Vergara found a creative solution. “This was Joe Manganiello’s initial, but now he’s gone,” she joked, drawing laughter from the studio.
When asked about her plans for the tattoo, Vergara enthusiastically revealed, “How lucky can I be that the guy that I’m going out has the same initial!” referring to her boyfriend, Dr. Justin Saliman.

Vergara dramatically threw up her hands and exclaimed, “Stop it! I’m leaving!” She then humorously lamented that her son had ruined his skin, which she proudly noted was “Beautiful Latin, dark skin.”

Legal documents obtained by The Blast showed that the judgment of dissolution, finalized on April 4, restored the former lovebirds to their single status.
The legal filing also detailed the terms of their settlement and the division of their assets. Their mutually signed prenuptial agreement also ensured that both parties waived their rights to spousal support.
Vergara and Manganiello also requested the court terminate any claims for alimony or maintenance fees. Additionally, the agreement covered attorney costs and expenses related to the divorce.

Before their single status was restored, Vergara and Manganiello reach a divorce settlement seven months after the actor filed for divorce. The document filed by Manganiello read:
“The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court. I request that the court approve the agreement.”
Initially, the former couple had publicly revealed their decision to separate through a joint statement. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the message began.
They emphasized their mutual care and affection by adding, “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
