Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Tony Awards to show support for her musical Suffs, which she produced!
The former Secretary of State introduced a performance from Shaina Taub and the cast of Suffs during the awards show on Sunday (June 16) at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.
Shaina and her co-stars, including nominee Nikki M. James, performed the song “Keep Marching,” which is the finale of the musical.
During the Tonys, Shaina won the awards for Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical, making her a double winner! The show was up for Best Musical, but the award went to The Outsiders.
