Max Verstappen heads to the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix with the opportunity to win his third consecutive World Drivers’ Championship title.
The Dutchman has ample chance to seal that trophy win as the Lusail International Circuit will also host the fourth Sprint race of the season this weekend in which the Red Bull driver needs to finish in the top six to claim another crown.

As seen in recent races though, Verstappen is unlikely to have it all his own way this weekend.
McLaren remain strong after Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri joined him on the podium at Suzuka during the last race weekend, whilst Ferrari remain the only other winners this season after Carlos Sainz’s win in Singapore the raceday prior.
Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and George Russell also remain in the hunt for their first victories this season after troubling the top order at times in 2023.
