Lady says Popeye’s staff ripped her hair out as a result of she complained about unsuitable order

An Atlanta lady is submitting a lawsuit towards the corporate that operates Popeye’s and a number of other staff of the placement she visited final September.

Denetra Dawson says she went to the Popeye’s on Cleveland Ave. to get dinner for her kids. She says her order was unsuitable, so she went to the drive-thru to have it mounted, however says the workers inside weren’t listening to her.

Dawson says she pulled as much as the window and staff started yelling at her as a result of she was holding up the timed drive-thru.

One of many staff then got here exterior, opened Dawson’s passenger door, climbed into her automobile and commenced attacking her. Dawson says the worker ripped her hair out of her scalp, leaving a big bald spot.

Police recognized the three staff concerned in assault as supervisor Tenister Evans and her sister and daughter.

“It took my id. I took delight in my hair,” Dawson mentioned.

A consultant for Popeye’s Eating places launched a press release that learn:

“We have now completely no tolerance for violence of any variety in Popeyes eating places. The franchisee of this restaurant confirmed the incident happened in September 2022, and the workers concerned had been instantly terminated.
