Even though Apple isn’t known for cheap prices, it is known for having some of the best laptops, so it makes sense if you want to grab a Mac if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem. Of course, there aren’t often a lot of great discounts on MacBooks, and it’s not surprising to see a few models with no discounts at all. That said, we’ve scoured retailers to find the best deals — and we have found quite a few.

While there aren’t discounts on every MacBook, we update this page regularly, so check back for any new deals. And amazingly, there are discounts on some of Apple’s latest and greatest models, too.

While Amazon and B&H Photo have the best prices at the moment, one benefit to paying full price and buying from Apple is that you can customize the machine and add more RAM or a higher-capacity solid-state drive. The models sold by Amazon and other retailers are fixed configurations.

Want to go the refurbished route? You can find refurbished MacBooks on Apple’s Certified Refurbished Mac page. Refurb inventory changes rapidly, so you may not always see the latest MacBook Air or Pro listed. It’s worth keeping an eye out, however, because you can lock in substantial savings.

It’s also worth noting that the Apple Store offers students an educational discount, which can trim hundreds of dollars from the price of a new laptop or tablet.

The baseline model of the new 14-inch MacBook Pro costs $1,999 and features Apple’s M2 Pro processor (10-core CPU and 16-core GPU), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. You can grab it for a pretty great $350 discount from B&H Photo, which brings its price down to $1,649, although that is only for the silver version. Gray is still full price.

The baseline model of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro costs $2,499 and features Apple’s powerful M2 Pro processor (12-core CPU and 19-core GPU), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid-state drive.
