Best NBA Player Prop Bets Today: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Steph Curry highlight Thursday, February 15

It’s a sleepy Thursday in the NBA, with just three games lined up on the eve of All-Star Weekend. A shallow slate is not a bad thing for bettors, though, as it gives us the ability to follow our NBA player prop bets from BetMGM in real time and hedge and make strategic hedges when necessary.

We haven’t needed to hedge much over the past couple of months. During that span, we have cashed on well over 60 percent of our best bets and top props, a number that has been steadily rising as the season progresses. Our process, it seems, has been paying off tremendously.

Let’s take a glance at the three-game slate of NBA action ahead of us, along with each game’s NBA betting odds courtesy of BetMGM (home teams listed first):

Grizzlies +11.5 vs. Bucks Jazz +2.5 vs. Warriors Blazers +9.5 vs. Timberwolves

Hey, not a bad lineup for a quiet night! We get some star power with Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry and Anthony Edwards, a pretty good matchup in Jazz-Warriors and the Western Conference-leading Wolves.

We also identified several value betting opportunities within this triple-header, best bets and top props which we will share with you below.

Let’s keep our momentum going on boost our bankroll coming into All-Star Weekend! Here are our favorite NBA bets on BetMGM, our go-to spot for all the latest odds, lines, and props.

Giannis Antetokounmpo points (Bucks at Grizzlies) — UNDER 30.5 (-120)

The Bucks have endured a tumultuous run, losing six of their past nine games under midseason coaching hire Doc Rivers. However, a commanding win over the reigning-champion Nuggets on Monday assures us that everything’s gonna be all right (as Bob Marley would say). Milwaukee should wipe the floor with an undermanned and underwhelming Grizzlies squad that has suffered mightily without Ja Morant.

As such, we don’t expect massive minutes for Giannis heading into All-Star Weekend. And even if he does play the full 32 minutes he averages, he probably won’t need to do a ton of scoring while he’s in. On top of that, he has averaged 27.2 points per game against reigning Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. and the Grizzlies dating back to the 2021-22 season. This could be a Dame night, consider Lillard OVER 24.5 points (-110) if you prefer betting the OVER.

Stephen Curry three-pointers (Warriors at Jazz) — OVER 4.5 (-160)

Steph has been lighting it up from distance over the past couple weeks, which has resulted in a little winning streak for a Warriors team that started 2024 in desperate need of a spark. The Chef has cooked up a whopping 36 three-pointers over the Dubs’ past four games and now he faces a Jazz squad that surrenders an NBA-high 14.3 triples per game (and 16 per game over Utah’s past three games, also an NBA-high). Smash Curry like Sabrina Ionescu will smash him in the NBA Three-Point Contest this weekend.

Anthony Edwards points (Wolves at Blazers) — OVER 26.5 (-120)

Ant-man just dropped 41 points on Wednesday and he’s averaging 32 PPG over Minnesota’s past five. We’re starting to think he deserves legitimate consideration on the MVP futures market as he’s easily the best scorer on the best team in the loaded Western Conference. Portland plays a lackluster perimeter defense that often seems like a complete turnstile to the hoop, so we like Edwards to easily clear 27 for the 13th time since the calendar flipped to 2024.

Rudy Gobert blocks (Wolves at Blazers) — OVER 1.5 (-150)

Gobert let us down on Tuesday, finishing with just one block and keeping us from going a perfect 5-for-5 with our best bets. We’re running it back tonight, though, as Portland has the third-highest opponent block average (6.3 per game) and just got stuffed nine times by the Wolves on Tuesday. The Stifle Tower has logged multiple blocks in 11 of his past 20 games, so we’re literally just playing the averages here.
