If you’re used to Windows 10, there’s a lot to explore with 11 Pro. A lot of these upgrades are security-based, so you can take advantage of things like Bitlocker encryption, wake and lock, and support for biometric login. Keep in mind, biometrics only work on computers with hardware that supports it. As cool as it would be, Windows 11 Pro won’t install a fingerprint scanner on your computer.

Important: before you buy, make sure your computer can actually support 11 Pro. Check all hardware specifications, and keep in mind that if your computer is running Windows 10 and can’t use Windows Update to upgrade to Windows 11, 11 Pro isn’t going to work either.
