Brian Austin Green Praises ‘90210’ Co-Star Ian Ziering Following Biker Attack: ‘Good on You’

Brian Austin Green is proud of his friend and former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Ian Ziering. Over the holiday weekend, Ziering was attacked by a group of bikers, fighting back against the group that attacked him on Hollywood Boulevard as his scared daughter looked on.

“My boy Ian Ziering got in a fist fight on Hollywood Boulevard with five dudes and f**king beat the… did it, did his thing,” Green said in an Instagram Story video from his car. “He’s a monster. He’s f**king incredibly fit.”

Green noted that he “would not suggest” fighting, but added, “It all turned out well.”

“Z, I love you, brother. You’re a f**king beast, and good on you,” Green ended the video.

Ziering was involved in a street brawl on New Year’s Eve. The Sharknado star later spoke out about the incident on Instagram.

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” he began. “While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”

Ziering who’s dad to Mia, 12, and Penna, 10, noted that while he’s “relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed,” the incident left him “deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.”

“This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior,” he wrote. “As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient.”

TMZ reported that Ziering returned to his car and drove off after escaping the bikers, who likewise left the scene.

The LAPD PIO tells ET, “Officers responded to an incident around 3 p.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue following reports of a fight that broke out after the group of bikers were driving recklessly and a battery report was taken.” No injuries were reported.
