GEORGETOWN, Guyana — Caribbean leaders on Friday denounced U.S. financial sanctions towards oil-rich Venezuela, saying they’ve been pressured to purchase costlier petroleum elsewhere as they battle with tight budgets.
Members of a Caribbean commerce bloc referred to as Caricom known as for elimination of the sanctions, which stop them from buying oil at a reduced price as a part of a cope with Venezuela referred to as Petrocaribe.
