Childish Gambino took to the stage at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday (June 30) held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The 40-year-old multi-hyphenate, also known as Donald Glover, was on hand to present the Album of the Year, which went to Killer Mike for his album Michael.
After Killer Mike‘s acceptance speech, Donald presented the trailer for his upcoming new movie Bando Stone & The New World!

In the trailer, Donald plays an artist named Bando Stone and he joins forces with a woman, played by Jessica Allain, to escape some creatures on an island.
If some of the locations look familiar to you, that’s because it was filmed in Hawaii, with parts filmed at Kualoa Ranch, which is where movies like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Jumanji, and many more have filmed.
Bando Stone & The New World was directed by Donald and written by Evi Wilder. It will also feature an original soundtrack by Childish Gambino!
