Cruise ship passengers left terrified after ship sails by tough seas on return to Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A cruise ship that navigated tough seas off the South Carolina coast over the Memorial Day weekend has resumed crusing on its subsequent cruise, Carnival Cruise Strains mentioned Monday.

Terrified passengers on the Carnival Sunshine took to social media to publish video of water pouring by a flooded hallway on a cabin stage and photos of on-board shops in shambles, with merchandise strewn about on the ground as massive waves swelled on the ocean.

Passenger Daniel Taylor mentioned the crew “left us blind, not reassuring us what was occurring, the place we had been heading to, what the plan was,” WCIV-TV reported.
