“So I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’. It’s very bittersweet. Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons,” she said in the video.

“Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor. Being the first Asian-American on Beverly Hills was a lot of weight on my shoulders that I have since really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people. I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me and I hope that I have been for you. Sharing my story with my ED, sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimers. I’ve heard so many incredible stories from you guys.”

In an Instagram post from July of 2022, she elaborated on her struggle, saying, “While painful in the experience and likely reliving it, it’s something I am not ashamed of nor believe defines who I am. It’s a part of me; a living challenge I face moment to moment. If you are also struggling, please remember, you do not have to recover alone.”

Minkoff Mended Fences With Stracke

Minkoff was also instrumental in getting the cast to discuss heavy topics like racism. She initially faced friction with cast members like Stracke, but the two have now grown to become friends, as evidenced by an Instagram post made by Minkoff where she’s seen embracing Stacke in January of this year.

“From foe to friend- grateful for this girl and always having my back,” Minkoff captioned the image. Guess she forgave Stracke for her iconic “ugly leather pants” dig at Minkoff in season 11.
