There’s always that one person at every holiday gathering who’s desperately in need of a new phone. If you’re due for an upgrade, you should’ve had no trouble finding a great deal on an unlocked phone on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. (Going the unlocked route eliminates the hassle of needing to coordinate a trade-in or a new data plan.)
