Damar Hamlin is back on the field!

On Sunday (October 1), the 25-year-old Buffalo Bills safety saw action in an NFL regular season game for the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest during the Bills’ Monday Night Football contest against the Cincinnati Bengals on January 25, 2023.

Before Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins in Buffalo, Damar shared a moment with his teammates in a huddle prior to taking the field.

Damar first returned to football during the Bills’ preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on August 12.

Officially cleared to play again back in April, Damar previously opened up about the “life-changing event.”

“They almost lost me. Like I died on national TV, you know what I mean?” he said. “So that right there is the biggest blessing of it all, for me to still have my people, and my people still have me.”
