Danny Masterson Moved To Same Max Security Prison As Charles Manson

‘That 70s Show’ star Danny Masterson has been moved to the same maximum security prison that once housed Charles Manson.

According to prison records, obtained by The Blast, Danny was previously held at the Los Angeles County jail before he was transferred to North Kern State Prison.

As previously reported, the 47-year-old was convicted of r-ping two women and received a sentence of 30 years to life (two 15-year sentences consecutively, one for each charge.) The alleged attacks took place between 2001 and 2003.

He must also register as a s-x offender.

Danny Masterson Transferred To Corcoran State Prison

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

The Blast has learned that the actor has officially been relocated to the Corcoran State Prison in California’s Central San Joaquin Valley — the same prison where Charles Manson served his sentence until he passed away in 2017.

‘The Dating Game Killer’ serial killer Rodney Alcala also served his time in the Corcoran State Prison as well as Sirhan Sirhan, who was convicted for the assassination of U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.

As you know, Masterson was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for two counts of r-pe with force, violence, or fear of bodily injury. He is eligible for parole in July 2042 when the actor will be 66.

“Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here,” the judge said at the time of his conviction. “Your actions 20 years ago took away another person’s choice and voice. Your actions 20 years ago today were criminal, and that’s why you are here.”

Masterson will be in Corcoran State Prison at the same time as David and Louise Turpin, who, in 2019, pleaded guilty to torturing and abusing their children. The case was dubbed the “house of horrors.”

During the trial, one of the women, who was referred to as Jane Doe 1, told the jury and judge that she wanted Masterson to serve a life sentence for what he did.

“[I] knew he belonged behind bars for the safety of all the women he came into contact with,” she said, adding, “I am so sorry, and I’m so upset. I wish I’d reported him sooner to the police.”

One of the three women claimed Masterson shoved a pillow into her face in 2003 while r-ping her. “When you r-ped me, you stole from me,” the victim said, “That’s what r-pe is, a theft of the spirit.”

In September, Masterson’s wife, Bijou Phillips, filed for divorce after nearly 12 years of marriage.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Phillips’ lawyer, Peter A. Lauzon, said, “Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter.”

He added, “This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.”

Masterson is also giving up custody of his nine-year-old daughter, whom he shares with Phillips.
