Social media users have discovered an odd comparison between Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson‘s mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, and her husband, Ryan Anderson.
Gypsy Rose married her husband, Ryan, in a prison wedding last June. The now 32-year-old was behind bars for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee, after she said she suffered years of abuse from her mom.
Now that Gypsy Rose has been released from prison on parole, fans are watching her every move, including looking at new and old photos of the 32-year-old.
When looking at photos of Dee Dee and Ryan side by side, fans are convinced that the two individuals look alike.

As you may know, Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson spent seven years in prison after pleading guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother. Gypsy and her then-boyfriend plotted a way to kill Dee Dee over text messages, and the plan was put into place on June 15, 2016.

Although a formal diagnosis cannot be determined, investigators believe Dee Dee Blanchard had a psychological disorder often referred to as Munchausen by proxy. Because Dee Dee wanted to be a caretaker, she isolated and controlled Gypsy Rose, even making up claims about Gypsy’s health, resulting in Gypsy utilizing a wheelchair, a feeding tube, a breathing machine, and undergoing surgeries, all of which she did not need.
When Gypsy Rose was born, Dee Dee claimed her daughter had sleep apnea. Once she was eight years old, Dee Dee then said Gypsy was suffering from leukemia and muscular dystrophy, convincing doctors and others that Gypsy needed a wheelchair and a feeding tube.
Over the years, Dee Dee then claimed Gypsy had suffered from seizures, asthma, hearing and visual impairments, amongst other illnesses and disorders.

Because Dee Dee had some experience with nurse’s training, she was able to accurately describe symptoms to doctors, and sometimes she even gave Gypsy Rose specific medication to make sure she had certain symptoms for certain conditions.
Gypsy Rose eventually caught on, realizing she was not really sick. She decided the only way out was to kill her mom, which she had her then-boyfriend do. After pleading guilty to second-degree murder, Gypsy Rose was sentenced to ten years in prison, with the eligibility of parole after completing 85% of her sentence. She was released on December 28.
