Gypsy Rose Addresses ‘Haters’ Weeks After Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson is addressing the backlash she has received from some after she was released from prison last month.

As you may know, Gypsy Rose spent seven years in prison after pleading guilty to her involvement in her mother’s murder. She was released on parole on December 28, 2023.

The now 32-year-old has received a tremendous amount of support as she’s believed to be a victim of Munchausen by proxy, a physiological disorder that investigators claim her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, had.

On the flip side, she has also received some backlash, as many can’t get past the fact that she helped to plan the murder of her mother. Now, Gypsy Rose is addressing that backlash in a new Instagram post.

As The Blast has previously reported, Dee Dee Blanchard had convinced her daughter, friends, family members, and doctors that Gypsy Rose had suffered from various symptoms, diseases, and disorders.

Some of the medical diagnoses that Dee Dee claimed Gypsy had received included asthma, epilepsy, vision impairments, hearing impairments, and being paralyzed from the waist down — none of which Gypsy actually had.
