Cameron Hardin Is A Competition Beast

Cameron has won the most competitions of any of the Big Brother 25 houseguests. His first Head of Household (HOH) win came after his incredible performance in the Pressure Cooker endurance competition, after 13 hours and 49 minutes of pressing his button. He was just five minutes shy of breaking the record for the longest competition in Big Brother history. Cameron has since gone on to win HOH two more times, including his latest, which he won on the same night that he returned to the house after winning the Do or Die Battle Back competition.

Cameron also won the Power of Veto competition during week 5, when he was nominated. He saved himself from the chopping block in a week when he was certain to be evicted. This veto competition was the Tiny Veto, which requires patience and stamina as the houseguests stack tiny objects using giant tweezers. He used these talents again during the Resurrection Rumble, when he had to balance different-sized balls on a giant shovel. Cameron has proven that he has both strong physical and mental skills, and uses both to win competitions.

Cameron Hardin Plays Strategically As A Superfan

Unlike some of his fellow Big Brother 25 houseguests, Cameron knows the game well. He is very strategic with his HOH reigns, often causing chaos in the house. During his second HOH, he led his fellow houseguests to believe that he was nominating Jag Bains and Blue Kim for eviction. They were shocked and caught off-guard when he nominated Felicia Cannon and Izzy Gleicher instead. Cameron also didn’t reveal his plan to backdoor Cirie Fields to Jared Fields until Jared had won the Power of Veto, and it was necessary. Although this actually led to his eviction because Jared is Cirie’s son, Cameron had no way of knowing that.

Cameron’s second HOH was masterful because he really thought it through. He said in his confessional that he wasn’t going to go after the president (Cirie) first. Instead, he nominated the houseguests he called the vice president (Felicia) and the secretary of defense (Izzy) in order to weaken Cirie. By keeping his plans a secret, he didn’t give the houseguests time to think about them. If Jared and Cirie weren’t related, he might’ve succeeded in backdooring the Survivor legend.

Cameron also had a well-thought-out strategy for his return to the Big Brother house. Assuming that he would definitely be the one to resurrect his game, he spent Scary Week rebuilding his relationships and forming new alliances. As a superfan, he modeled his new alliance, The Fugitives, with Matt Klotz and Jag, after Big Brother 12’s iconic Brigade alliance. As the fiercest competitors, they could take turns winning competitions, while bringing in Blue and Bowie Jane as numbers to help their side stay in power.

This showed that Cameron came into the game knowing how to play it and figuring out strategies based on that knowledge. While his fellow Zombie Jared spent a lot of his time arguing with his showmance, Blue, and others about why he was blindsided at the double eviction, Cameron looked toward the future of his game, and made sure to lay the groundwork for his possible return to it.

Cameron Hardin Is A Fighter

Cameron has had his back against the wall during the entire game. He was nominated for eviction in weeks 2 and 3, but was told he was a pawn, and then won the Pressure Cooker endurance HOH in week 4. During that week, Matt used the Power of Invincibility to save Jag from his unanimous eviction, so Cameron’s hard-earned HOH win was erased. In week 5, he was nominated again, but won the Power of Veto to save himself when he knew that he was the true target.

That week, Jared successfully turned Cameron’s number one ally Red Utley against him by lying that Cameron had thrown Red under the bus to save his own game. Red froze Cameron out and ended their Chillers alliance without an explanation, but Cameron stuck by Red and still voted to keep him in the house. He was fighting for both of their futures in the game because he’s so loyal to his alliance members. However, Red was still evicted, leaving Cameron with only Bowie Jane as an ally.

Cameron didn’t let these setbacks discourage him, and he never gave up. He knew that they were part of the game, and kept pushing forward. Cameron won HOH again in week 6, which was his only option since the whole house was coming for him. The following week, when Cameron was ineligible to play for HOH, the reigning HOH Jared didn’t nominate him, but he was still randomly chosen to play for the veto. That time, Cameron didn’t win, and so he was unanimously evicted.

However, Cameron fought hard during his time as a Zombie during Scary Week to not only repair his relationships with his fellow contestants, but to win the Resurrection Rumble. He spent the time between rounds refining his strategy, and taking advice from his fellow houseguest, Jag, about how to maximize his time. Cameron wanted to come back into the Big Brother 25 house, and he simply wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

Cameron Hardin Brings The Chaos

Cameron will be remembered by Big Brother fans because he’s so entertaining to watch. During his second HOH when he blindsided everyone by nominating Felicia and Izzy, his reign of chaos was made even more legendary because of how the Humili-verse had him reveal his nominations. Instead of turning the keys in the box, Cameron had to smash pies into the faces of the safe houseguests. He made a real show of it, slowly going around the table with the pies. No one but Cameron could’ve made that moment so deliciously fun to watch. It’s so obvious that he loves the game.

Cameron is a captivating and fascinating Big Brother houseguest because he quickly changes from a villainous mastermind during his HOH reigns to an underdog who’s easy to root for when he’s nominated for eviction. He has found ways to get out of every sticky situation he finds himself in, even resurrecting his game after being evicted unanimously. If he wants to come back and play in an All-Stars season, he should be at the top of the list. Cameron has a strong chance of winning Big Brother 25, but, no matter what happens, he’ll always be remembered because he’s establishing himself as a legend in the game.

Big Brother 25 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
