How to Get More Crafting Components

Quick Links Where To Find Crafting Components

Many players prefer to go the crafting route to create some of the most potent weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 instead of solely relying on Cyberteechs. Some of the more powerful and unique weapons can only be unlocked via crafting; however, for such an endeavor, you will require a lot of components. These crafting components can be acquired in multiple ways so that you always have a way to craft your next weapon.

Crafting in Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t as tedious as some other games, as it only requires you to collect components and have a blueprint of your desired weapon. However, the main challenge remains in gathering enough components, which is quite hard to come by. However, you can use the below methods to efficiently acquire components from useless weapons, caches or buy them from vendors.

Where To Find Crafting Components

The easiest way to acquire crafting components is by looting caches that can be found across Night City. You will come across them during side gigs, main story missions, and while exploring the city naturally. However, the most efficient way to find crafting components is to complete some of the major or elaborate side gigs in Cyberpunk 2077, as you will find a hidden cache in most areas during missions.

Make Crafting Components

While completing missions and side gigs, you will also loot some weapons and armor that might not fit your build in Cyberpunk 2077. Instead of selling them, you can dismantle these useless weapons and armor to acquire crafting components. As you progress and level up your V, old gear tends to get useless and take up unnecessary inventory space. Thankfully, you can dismantle them to get more use out of scrap material. You can dismantle any weapons & armor in Cyberpunk 2077 by going into your inventory, hovering your pointer at the item, and holding down the disassemble button.

If you have the Mechanic and Workshop perks, you can also increase the chances of getting crafting components and better items.

Buy Crafting Components

The third and final way to receive components in the game is by going out and buying crafting components in Cyberpunk 2077 directly from vendors. While almost all vendors in the game will sell components, the best place to get them is from junk vendors. Keep in mind that this method can get fairly expensive, so you should have a decent amount of cash before heading out to buy crafting components.
