She said of her mother, Ivana, in a lovely caption on Instagram: “Imagining you sailing through the heavens guided by the stars.”
She continued, “Today would have been your 75th birthday. We raise our sails in your honor, Mom, navigating through life with the compass of your love and intrepid spirit. We miss and love you.”
Ivanka added to the emotional piece a throwback picture of the late matriarch posing all smiles for the camera while donning a well-fitting captain’s suit.
