Jenelle Evans Initiates Divorce Proceedings Against David Eason

Within the filing, the reality personality criticized Eason and highlighted his erratic conduct, including his confession to killing their pet dog, as well as ongoing legal troubles stemming from accusations of assaulting the 14-year-old child.

According to one report, the separation filing reportedly addresses his purported “refusal to work” and excessive spending of her earnings. Evans alleges the existence of text exchanges with him that she deems as “criminal conversations.”

‘Disturbing Behavior’

The legal paperwork, submitted on February 23, asserts that the couple formally parted ways on February 16, “with the intent that the separation be permanent,” as per online reports.

“Throughout the duration of the marriage of the parties, the defendant has exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards the plaintiff,” the document conveyed. “In May of 2019, Defendant shot and killed the family’s pet French Bulldog Nugget in front of the minor child,” referring to their 7-year-old daughter.

Consequently, Evans asserts that Eason’s act of killing the family pet led to “the Columbus County Department of Child Services, DSS instituting proceedings against the parties and taking into custody the aforementioned minor children.”

Evans recounts the latest incident, stating, “On or about September 28, 2023, a report was made to medical professionals by the plaintiff’s oldest minor child.”

She indicates that following the Sheriff’s Office investigation, Eason was “subsequently charged with misdemeanor child abuse and felony assault by strangulation.”

Jenelle Evans Alleges Lack of Support from David Eason Since Their Split

MEGAAccording to the legal document, Evans alleges that Eason, who she asserts is currently residing on her boat, has neglected to check in on her or inquire about their daughter Ensley.

“[David] has been spending his days drinking liquor at a bar near the marina,” she claimed as reported by The Sun.

Additionally, Evans mentioned that David had declined to give her access to the key for their mailbox, resulting in her inability to retrieve her son Jace’s prescription, thereby “putting the minor child at risk for detrimental health effects.”

Evans also criticized her estranged husband for leaving their marital home and abandoning their 16-year-old daughter, Maryssa.

The court document allegedly states that “[David] developed no plan for ensuring both of his biological minor children were cared for and offered [Jenelle] zero support and assistance with any of the minor children during this time.”

Evans said she needed Maryssa out of the home so that she could focus her care on Jace, “especially since [he] had just been forced into DSS custody because of alleged acts of domestic violence by the defendant.”
