JoJo Siwa is coming clean on her beauty enhancement efforts. The former child star has now admitted to spending about $50,000 on a cosmetic procedure to brighten and beautify her grin.

It comes after she opened up about her insecurities, noting that she endured harsh criticisms of her look at the age of 12.

She recently underwent a rebrand, which she dubbed her “black beast look.” This sparked mixed reactions among fans, as some likened her to a “WWE Diva,” while others compared her to a heavy metal band member.

The “Dance Moms” alum recently admitted to spending tens of thousands of dollars on a cosmetic procedure.

Her confession was made known in a TikTok video making the rounds. In the footage, BuzzFeed asked Siwa to mention the most expensive thing she was wearing during the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards last month, to which she replied, “My teeth.”

“These motherf-ckers cost me 50 grand,” she noted, referring to her veneers.

It comes after she opened up about her struggles with insecurities while she competed on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” last November.

“I judge myself at everything. I’m a very insecure person,” Siwa shared, per Page Six.

“Everything gets judged. You know, people told me I have a receding hairline; they don’t know that I have a stress rash, and that’s why I’m balding right here. A 12-year-old shouldn’t have a stress rash on their head that makes them bald, but I did,” she added.

The “So You Think You Can Dance” judge went through a shocking rebrand, wearing a Kiss-inspired look to the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards that left fans stunned because she opted against wearing her signature high ponytail.

For the event, she ditched her staple hairstyle, glitter bows, and neon clothing for a total overhaul; she wore a racy black and silver ensemble with sheer fishnet cutouts, combat boots, and a faux hawk hairstyle.

“This is my ‘KARMA,’ black beast look,” Siwa said. “It’s got some rips in it, but you’d never know.”

Gene Simmons Of Kiss Approves Of The Dancer’s New Look

Siwa’s new look received some pushback from fans but was approved by Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, who said it was “cool.”

“Anybody who doesn’t get it is just jealous, period,” Simmons said, adding, “Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary. JoJo is extraordinary, and she looks cool.”

The legendary “Detroit Rock City” performer acknowledged that Siwa’s black-and-white outfit bore similarities to his Kiss costumes, continuing, “Of course, she looks like me, but that’s another story.”

Siwa went on to share that she is indifferent to what people think about her new look and music, adding that she is just focused on bettering her craft.

“Creating art is such a special, special thing,” the 20-year-old said, per E! News. “And I’m very lucky that I get to be one of the people in the world that gets to create art.”

“The way that I’m able to keep going and keep being like, ‘Wait, actually what I’m doing is right,'” she explained, “is because some of the most respected people in the world have come up to me and been like, ‘What you’re doing right now is so right. It is what the world needs, and I’m learning from what you are doing right now.'”

Siwa added, “Support from people like that means the world to me.”
