Kaitlyn Bristowe rang in 2024 speaking out against the haters. The 38-year-old Bachelor Nation star hosted a New Year’s Eve party over the weekend, posting photos and videos of herself with fellow Bachelor Nation and reality TV stars.
But on Monday, she took to her Instagram Stories to speak out after receiving lots of hate and backlash for the soiree.
“You would think by now I’d be used to the hate,” she began her post. “I’m not. Your words hurt. Your shaming hurts.”
The reality star added that she “feels a little sad” for those who have slammed her online, adding, “It’s actually scary, and I know looking inward might be even scarier for you. But. The bullying is next level. You are allowed to have opinions and feelings. But you don’t even know the truth.”
Adding that she’s concerned about the mental health of those who have posted about her, she noted, “Please feel ashamed of yourselves for treating someone this way who you don’t know. I did not kill someone. I had a party with some of my favorite people.”

The party in question took place at Bristowe’s Nashville, Tennessee, home on Sunday. The single star had fellow Bachelor Nation stars in attendance like Blake Moynes and Zac Clark. Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney was also spotted at the gathering.

Bristowe called off her engagement to Jason Tartick over the summer, and in one video was spotted with her arm around Clark as the two counted down into the New Year, leading to romance speculation.
But Bristowe hopped into the comments section of an account that posted the moment, writing, “Hi! Here to say that there was never an ounce of cheating happening and I will not stand for this rumor. Y’all are NASTY in here. Anywho. Swear on my dogs lives. No cheating went on. So we can just put that to rest. Thank you!! Happy new year everyone. Go donate some blood or somethin!”
Clark is the ex of Bristowe’s pal and fellow Bachelorette Tayshia Adams. She accepted his proposal on her season as the Bachelorette. The exes split in 2021, and Adams has since gone on to date Luke Gulbranson.
Bristowe didn’t specifically mention the Clark rumors in her Instagram Story, but she did write, “I wish I could just share my truth and tell you my side. It’s hard to bite my dang tongue sometimes.”
Bristowe served as The Bachelorette on season 11 of the dating show. She and Adams also co-hosted season 17 of The Bachelorette together.
Bristowe and Tartick began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in 2021. They went public with their split in August 2023.
