Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have won back-to-back Super Bowls. Not done since the New England Patriots in 2003-2004, the Chiefs have beaten the 49ers once again, 25-22. The game, held in Las Vegas for the first time, was headlined by two major storylines: Brock Purdy, the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, and Taylor Swift.
It took a while to get going but perhaps Usher’s halftime show helped wake up both teams. That’s why near the end, the Chiefs and 49ers gave us an amazing game that went into overtime.

Fortunately, with Swift watching, Travis Kelce caught a crucial pass and drove the Chiefs into field goal range to tie the game and send it to overtime. This would be the second-ever overtime in Super Bowl history (the first being the infamous 24-3 game)

Fumbles were the name of the game in the first half as both teams gave away crucial possessions for a slow start to the game. Fans were not happy that their multi-millionaire football stars couldn’t keep the ball in their hands in the most important games of their lives.
