Kate Middleton ‘steps back’ from efforts to make peace with Prince Harry

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is “taking a step back” from her efforts for reconciliation among Prince Harry, Prince William and the royal family, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told a publication, per OK! magazine that Prince William’s sweetheart was ‘deeply hurt’ by some of the things the Duke of Sussex said about her, particularly in his bombshell memoir Spare.

She went on to say “And unfortunately, because of these entrenched positions where neither side seems to want to make contact or the first move, I can’t see this rift healing any time soon.”

The future queen had played the ‘peacemaker’ in the past and brought William and Harry together, and “I think that comes from her own family and their values,” she said.

The royal expert added Kate has got to a stage whereby she has had to take a ‘step back’, things have gone too far, and she feels upset and, quite frankly, ‘hurt and insulted.’
