Kremlin says mercenary chief Prigozhin met Putin after riot

MOSCOW, July 10 (Reuters) – The Kremlin stated on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin on June 29, 5 days after the group marched in the direction of Moscow in a short-lived riot.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov instructed reporters that Putin invited 35 folks to the assembly, together with unit commanders, and that it lasted three hours. The Wagner commanders instructed Putin they have been his troopers and would proceed to battle for him, Peskov stated.
