Lana Del Rey has spoken about why she not often performs reside on TV, revealing that she doesn’t “really feel assured” sufficient.
Throughout a brand new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the singer-songwriter was requested why she has solely sung on a tv present as soon as since 2012, when she appeared on Saturday Evening Stay and David Letterman.

Del Rey performed two songs – ‘Video Video games’ and ‘Blue Denims’ – on that episode of SNL. However her efficiency was extensively criticised on the time, with Hollywood actor Juliette Lewis accusing the artist of “pretending to sing”.
“I feel I’ve completed two [TV performances]? Possibly that’s one thing else I’ll develop into extra, like touring,” Del Rey advised THR. “And don’t get me improper. I toured for 9 years of my life. It was nonstop. It was powerful.
“However you realize in your coronary heart when it’s the proper time. And it’s by no means been the proper time [for TV]. Possibly now, even when I didn’t really feel assured, I’d do it anyway. However there was a motive to not really feel assured.”
When requested what the explanation was, Del Rey replied: “I didn’t know if it could be acquired properly. However there’s a whole lot of weirdos on the market now, so, we’re superb. We’re in good firm.”

Elsewhere within the interview, the star defined the current viral clip of her working in a Waffle Home and mentioned being an inspiration to Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish.
