KBS shared the Love Song for Illusion episode 7 trailer ahead of its premiere. The K-drama, starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, is a fantasy romance drama revolving around a crown prince and an assassin.
In episode 6, Ye-Ji’s Kyera returns to Sajo Hyeong to protect him from getting stabbed. She pushes him to take over the throne, after which he becomes the new king. However, her fate brings her back to the palace as a maid, not as his concubine. The Love Song for Illusion episode 7 trailer shows the lead characters enduring pain at the palace. As such, they will suffer the aftermath of their decision.

The trailer of Love Song for Illusion episode 7 begins with Kyera (Hong Ye-Ji) promising King Sajo Hyeon (Park Ji-Hoon) that she will be by his side. In the previous episode, he asked her to be with him so he wouldn’t end up like his father.
In the trailer, she says, “I will do my best to help you from where I am. So, please do your best to set this country right.” It further shows Sajo Hyeon having visions of his father and acting strangely in front of the royal court.
On the other hand, the queen orders the maids’ leader to torment Kyera. Park Ji-Hoon’s character will struggle to keep sane as he fights his inner demons. The episode ends with Sajo Hyeon being disappointed as he learns he has to spend the night with the queen.

Love Song for Illusion episode 7 will premiere on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 10:10 p.m. KST on KBS2. It will also stream on Viki with subtitles.
Consisting of 16 episodes, the South Korean drama airs twice weekly on Monday and Tuesday.
