Madonna fans concerned as she admits she’s still ‘not well’

Madonna has confessed to fans that she’s still not completely well after facing a life-threatening bacterial infection earlier this year.

The Queen of Pop admitted to her health condition during her show in Belgium. Madonna had to cancel her world tour earlier this year when her crippling condition lead her to be admitted into the ICU.

The singer resumed her tour after she began to feel better, and she has 15 more countries to tour.

The Hung Up hitmaker gave the health update when she opened up about her health scare, expressing gratitude for making it through the infection.

“I must tell you that I don’t feel very well right now but I can’t complain, because I’m alive. Thank God for my children and all of your love and support,” she revealed.

Fans are now concerned, and getting it across that the singer should put her health first, as their love for her is not in question whether she performs or not.

Taking to X, one concerned fan wrote: “Madonna put on an incredible show last night. She said she wasn’t feeling well. It’s hard not to wonder if she’s really not well though, pushing through with the tour so soon after her illness. I hope she and her business people are taking good care of her.”

Another fan wished Madonna the best, writing, “Oh no. This is just the beginning of the tour. I hope she is going to be okay and she has people around her who have her best interests at heart.”

“This has been a concern from day 1 of the announcement, always thinking, this will be gruelling (sic) for her. I hope she’s well enough to continue and complete the tour,” wrote a third,

A fourth fan worried that the tour must be taking a toll on the icon: “I think that illness has really shook her. She was on top form on opening night, smiling all the way through. I don’t doubt she’s being looked after but the tour must be gruelling (sic) 2 hours performing every night not to mention sound checks.”
