Masters 2024 live golf scores, results, highlights from Sunday’s Round 4 leaderboard

The final day of the 2024 Masters is here, and soon a winner of the prestigious major will be crowned at Augusta National.

Saturday’s moving day did not disappoint. There was plenty of shuffling at the top of the leaderboard as Scottie Scheffler, Nicolai Hojgaard, Ludvig Aberg, Bryson DeChambeau, Max Homa and Collin Morikawa played musical chairs with first place. At the end of Round 3, it was Scheffler sitting atop the leaderboard heading into Sunday.

One of the biggest storylines this weekend was the return of Tiger Woods, who was forced to withdraw from the 2023 edition of the major due to his ankle. While he make history by making the cut for the 24th consecutive time, marking the most cuts made in a row at the Masters, he posted his worst score ever in a Masters round Saturday and enters Sunday far down the leaderboard.

Of the names contending for first place, just Scheffler has a Masters win under his belt. The Texan won in 2022, but the others, including Aberg, Hojgaard, Morikawa, DeChambeau and Homa, are looking to don the gren jacket for the first time in their careers.

Will fans see a repeat champion at Augusta? Or will a new name be etched into the Masters history books?

The Sporting News is tracking all the key moments from Sunday’s Round 4 of the 2024 Masters Tournament.

1:30 p.m.: Another prominent storyline comes in the form of Verne Lundquist, who will be calling his final round at the Masters today. It’s a 40 year run behind the CBS mic that is coming to a close.

1 p.m.: One of the biggest things to watch today will be Scottie Scheffler. And that’s not because of his play on the course, but rather whether he ends up withdrawing. The Scheffler’s are expecting the birth of their first child any day now and if it happens today, he’ll leave — even if he’s leading.

If Scottie Scheffler’s wife goes into labor, he still plans on leaving the Masters to be there.

12:15 p.m.: By day’s end, one person will be left wearing a green jacket and everyone else will be green with envy. If you’re wondering what the rules are for this piece of fabric, look no further:

11 a.m.: Tiger Woods started the Masters well, but he shot his worst-ever round at the major Saturday when he carded an 8-over 80 for the day. He’s en route to another rocky round, as he’s 4 over through 7 holes Sunday. He is now 15 over for the tournament, which puts him in 60th place. That’s last among players who made the cut.
