Matt Rife Gets Trolled For Reacting To Plastic Surgeon’s Joke About ‘Jawline’

A video making the rounds on social media in which a plastic surgeon claimed to have given an unnamed star the “greatest jawline ever” has gotten the attention of comedian Matt Rife.

The comedian found himself at the center of a social media storm when a Chicago-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Caughlin, posted a video seemingly satirizing having made the “greatest jawline ever” for an undisclosed celebrity client.

The video, which was first posted on TikTok, went viral with over 16 million views before Caughlin shared it on Instagram.

“Me after creating the greatest jawline ever seen just for my patient to get canceled right after,” Caughlin wrote over the video, as he was seen jumping and smiling down a hospital hall.

Social media users flooded the video’s comment section on TikTok and Instagram to troll Rife for commenting even though his name was not mentioned.

A TikToker seemingly paid the 28-year-old comedian in his coin by stating that “if he was offended by this man’s joke,” he should click a link that directs him to a website that sells supplies for people with special needs.

“Turns out being funny isn’t that hard. @Matt Rife is just really bad at it,” the TikTok user added.

The “special needs” comment was in reference to Rife, who told critics of his domestic violence joke to click a link to a website that sells helmets.

On Instagram, one person said Rife was “just bitter” and that Caughlin’s video comment section was “funnier than his entire Netflix special.”

“Not Matt Rife being absolutely furious over a joke while simultaneously bitching about others not being able to take a joke,” another person shared.

A third netizen noted, “Imagine making fun of special needs children and domestic violence victims but getting offended by a sill IG Reel.”

Another individual seemed to think Rife shot himself in the leg by saying, “Revealing yourself under your surgeon’s vague post is insane.”

The “Burb Patrol” star attempted to recount an experience he had with a restaurant server who had a black eye when she was on duty.

He questioned why the company had allowed her to work in that state, adding, “It was pretty obvious what happened.”

“And my boy, who I was with, was like, ‘Yeah, I feel bad for her, man, I feel like they should put her in the kitchen or something where nobody has to see her face.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn’t have that black eye,’” Rife added.

To add salt upon injury, Rife proceeded to share a fake apology note that further angered fans, writing, “If you’ve ever been offended by a joke I’ve told, here’s a link to my official apology,” before adding a link that leads to a website selling “special needs helmets.”

Rife seemed to be going full throttle in controversies after a 2015 clip resurfaced in which he seemingly touched actress Zendaya.

The pair had appeared on MTV’s “Wild ‘n Out” at the time and engaged in a banter that saw Rife try to make her spit out the water in her mouth to score points for his team. The “Spider-Man” actress sat on a chair with an unmoved demeanor as Rife did all he could to wind her up.

Frustrated that his efforts weren’t producing results, he grabbed her by her chin and yelled, “Spit that water out so I can get your number, please!”

Zendaya, who was 18 years old at the time, put up a disapproving look as her teammates rushed to her aid and told him not to “touch her like that.” Rife teammates also didn’t like that he acted that way and seemingly scolded him.

“I didn’t touch her—she can handle herself!” Rife tried to defend himself.
